BlackOak Commerce is for online and in-app sales. Buyers always pay at checkout on your site, in your app or through a BlackOak hosted page. There are no terminals or card readers.
- Pay by Bank: available now. The buyer pays from a checking account in their own name.
- Debit and credit cards: shown as Coming soon in the merchant portal. We will tell you when they are ready.
You turn each payment method on or off yourself in the merchant portal.
A buyer pays the same on every method. You may not add a surcharge or pass a card fee to the buyer. If you offer a discount for a payment method, it must apply equally to Pay by Bank and debit card.
