Every BlackOak merchant has a tier: Foundation, Standard, Established or Scaled. Your tier sets your processing limits, when your money becomes available and your reserve. It does not set your price.
A clean application approved straight away starts at Standard. Any other approval starts at Foundation.
We review tiers on the last business day of each month. You move up one tier at a time, never more:
- Foundation to Standard: after five clean settled batches.
- From Standard upward: after at least 90 days at your current tier.
If we see risk on your account, we can lower your tier or limits the same day.
Your limits cover your daily total and your largest single payment. A payment over your limit is declined at checkout, before any money moves.
